We find ourselves here as missionaries serving in the Anglican Church of Tanzania primarily through the working of the Holy Spirit -- with a big assist from Anglicans Online.

One day while surfing, I found discovered a link to the Diocese of Mt Kilimanjaro under your 'New This Week' section. After contacting the local bishop here, the rest was, well, history. And so now we find ourselves working along side the people of Tanzania, pastoring the Cathedral and a new start up parish, planting churches -- with a particular outreach to the Maasai Peoples, supporting an orphanage, introducing (much needed) Alcoholics Anonymous, providing chaplaincy for an AIDS hospice and so much more. We're presently focusing on birthing the Communion's newest (and perhaps poorest) diocese, Manyara, which will come into being God willing some time in 2006.

Thank you, Anglicans Online. You've certainly made a difference in the lives of our family of five and many people and nascent Christian communities here in East Africa.
