THE CHURCH IN WALES
has been a separate province since 1920. It has six dioceses
and around 600 parishes. Parishes are listed alphabetically by location, under
their diocese. Official diocesan organizations are listed first under a diocese.
In the roster below, dioceses in italic type do not yet have web sites. We list them to give you an idea of the scope of the
Anglican Communion and to indicate that anglican.org
domain names are being held in reserve for all dioceses in the Anglican Communion and can be claimed by a diocese at any time.

Renewal Ministries
Serving the Church in Wales as a resource to encourage renewal. 'Our ministries
are the means by which we seek to encourage Renewal in the Church, they
include: conferences and other events for the inspiration and teaching
of clergy, leaders and laity, the production of publications,
liaison with prayer networks, and close co-operation with diocesan, provincial
and international renewal organisations. We are supported by 4
Spiritual Advisors: The Most Revd Rowan Williams,
Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Saunders Davies, Bishop
of Bangor, the
Revd Gervais Angel
[Retired], and
Canon Dr Christina Baxter, Principal of St John's College Nottingham.
The Christian Mountain Centre
'A 50-bed Christian residential outdoor activity and retreat/conference centre based in North Wales and welcoming groups of all ages

Coleg y Groes
A small retreat house in North Wales, under the auspices of the Church in Wales but open to all. It is managed by two priests in the
Church in Wales, who write: 'Together with 14 'companions', we form the Community of Coleg y Groes; in English 'College of the Cross'.
'College' refers to the 18th-century former almshouses that make up the retreat house; we're not an educational establishment!' It looks
a delightful place.
Credo Cymru
Forward in Faith in Wales.
Easter People
A group (primarily ages 17–30) in the Diocese of Monmouth who meet at varying venues to discuss topics the group chooses at a
previous meeting. Their hallmark? Friendly, animated, and thoughtful discussions. Though primarily Anglican in membership, the group
welcomes all denominations and even the unchurched.
