THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN THE USA (ECUSA) is
one of the provinces of the Anglican Communion, incorporating
not only the dioceses within the United States, but also a number of dioceses outside it.
The
ECUSA came into existence as an independent denomination after
the American Revolution. Today it has between two and three million
members in the United States and Central America, all of which
are under the jurisdiction of Presiding Bishop Frank Tracy Griswold
III.
This USA
section is divided into several areas. Choose the area you're
interested in from the chart just below. Since our links to dioceses
and parishes are on this page, that section is in bold type.

ECUSA
Dioceses and Parishes: BY STATE
Under
each state you'll find diocesan home pages listed first, alphabetically
by diocese. After the diocesan web pages, parishes are listed alphabetically
by city or town, regardless of their diocese. We assume most people
want to find what Anglican parishes are in, say, Tucson, Arizona,
and don't particularly want to find the name of a particular parish
church in a state. After all, if you know the name of the church,
you'll probably know what city or town it's in.
We list Episcopal churches outside the USA that are administratively part
of ECUSA, though because almost no one knows or cares about church administration
structures, we also list them where they belong geographically.

Are
you looking for an Episcopal church in the USA?
There are several online databases that will help you find an Episcopal
Church in the area where you live or are travelling. The databases
include all 7500+ Episcopal churches, not just those with web sites.
Episcopal
Church Locator: Produced by Morehouse Publishing,
this database lets you search by zip code. You can limit your
search by number of miles from that zip code.
Parish
Finder: This site, sponsored by the Church Pension
Group, lets you search by street and zip code. You can restrict
your search to find only churches, cathedrals, chapels or schools,
seminaries, or diocesan offices.
